Fed Up

Common sense should tell,by now, it is hard to believe any thing from our government. To cut back carbon, to the 60's levels, with the populations growing, I don't see how that would be possible. Health care, more about control then care. India and China will not go along with anything, if it requires verifications by anybody. All the other, smaller nations want more money and don't really care about climate control. The American government only wants health care and carbon emissions control, for exactly that, control. China will, more than likely, have a big say in what, when and how, the Obama administration spends money. The way the administration wants to go is to make the U.S. more like Germany. All the health care and climate change(man made global warming) is government made, so maybe it is man made. To draw 490 billion out of social security, to get universal health care, does not make any sense but if rationing health care is the goal, than it does make sense. To have our carbon levels be the same as the 60's, don't make any sense but if control of energy is the goal then it makes prefect sense. All that we have heard from Washington, in the last year, is to control health care and control energy, nothing that would help moving forward, as a matter of fact, it would be moving backward. China is using their abundant resource, coal. We have oil and coal, yet all of the government agencies will not let us use our resources, at all. We will never find a alternative fuel source, this way because all the technology will be stagnate. We will not have the will or means to move forward. The government will stop all technology that would lead to a fuel that is renewable because they can't control it. Wind power is said to bother the birds. Solar power, is not allow to be put in the desert because of an adverse effect on insects and what every wildlife is there. The environmentalist are against everything, no one can figure out what they are fore. The EPA is the worst agency that was ever started. The EPA is operated by any and all political hacks that the party in power puts in to run it. The problem with saying CO2 is bad make it okay to stop or reverse all technology. The question is, at what point does the cutting CO2 become dangerous to the plants and people. No one is asking that question. At some point, the lack of CO2 will hamper plant growth and ability of plants to produce oxygen. So cutting levels of CO2 may solve all the problems, health care, zero population growth and of course, global warming, because an oxygen deprived environment, no carbon based life form can survive. Think about that , cutting carbon, and we and all animals are, just what they want to cut, carbon based life forms. Silly isn't it? Can carbon be that bad? Is higher carbon amounts, what is needed to live? Maybe it forces plants to grow faster, bigger and makes plants to put out more oxygen. That is not any more off base then CO2 needs to be controlled .

Government & Global Anything

Common sense should tell you that the government is backing climate change(global warming), not because they believe it, and they may, but to get more control over the economy. Global warming, global cooling or global anything, the government does not care, its only interest, is the ability to control energy. Even if we give tax money to the government, to lower CO2, all the bills, all the laws and all the regulations, will not lower anything. Cap-n-trade, for instance, allows CO2 emissions to raise, they will just charge you more taxes for that emission. How does that help lower CO2? It doesn't. As several are saying, at this time we do not have the technology for alternative energy. Until we can come up with a energy source, other then coal or oil, that works as well is coal and oil do, we have to go with what we have. The environmentalist now have a problem with solar and wind power, not that will produce enough energy to take the place of coal and oil, but we can't put solar in the desert because it might bother the insects and any animals, that might be there. The problem with wind, they say that it bothers the birds. I have said before, the environmentalist are against almost everything. Putting carbon output limits on every individuals will not work because we as individuals, may not be able to control all of our carbon outputs. Putting a carbon output on a power plant, as a public utility, can not be shut down, it can however, be forced it to limits of output or higher taxes, at any rate, it will be just regulations on the people. Congress and the Senate members, will not be asked to limit their output. So I can't say if global warming is happening or not, but I know giving the government money or the power the regulate energy, will only make us poorer in either money or energy. Through conservation, we can reduce CO2 output, by just being smarter, we don't need the government to take our money or back off our energy supply. The population will keep going up and we will need more energy. We should not go backwards, always forward.

The Economy

Common sense should tell all, that the economy will not come back as long as unemployment is at double digits. All of this promised green job are not in the cards. Carbon tax, cap-n-trade and the effort to reduce the carbon foot print of all persons, will do nothing, to create jobs or help the economy. All that will talk about it honestly, will tell you that it is a backward step, into the 60's, maybe late 50's and the biggest thing, a job killer. It make little difference how the stocks are doing, they don't create jobs. Everything that is proposed by this administration, is a job killer. The health care bill is a job killer. Who wants to hire more or expand, if they are not sure of the cost. They know that there will be a tax increase but not sure how much. The uncertainty is the job killer. The very worst thing is all the people that wants the military to come home, I to would like them not to be in a war but come home, to what, unemployment at 10% and when they leave the military, what then, higher unemployment? There is no light at the end of the tunnel, with this administration, all the same thing, it will get better but everything that they want will have a adverse effect on the economy. I was in hopes of something better but it is just politics as usual. We better be careful, we can't afford the return to the 60's with 2001 prices. If it happens, remember, you voted them in, I hope that you can vote them out, before they implement their programs. One step forward and six giant steps back to the 60's. Can we live through them again? Do we want to try? Lots of questions and no answers.

Research

Common sense should tell you that this country has no real researchers any more. A scientist starts with a question, like is there weather change, hot or cold, and starts from there, not to prove there is but to see if it is fact. Now days they all start with a answer, like there is weather change and set out to prove there is and what causes it. It would not make any difference if it was colder or hotter, if grant money is at stake, they will make sure it turns out the way the grantor's what it to be. The thing is that if ones starts out believing that the globe is getting warmer, then everything that ones sees, hears and reads will go to prove that he is right. If one believes that the globe is cooling than everything thing he sees, hears and reads will go to prove that cooling is right. No one, today, will go where the facts lead, not try to bend the facts to the believes that one may have. It is the start of the decline of facts, when the ones that we depend on start putting out anything for political favors or grant money gains. If politicians have the ability to get scientist to say or bend facts to their liking, we won't be able to rely on anyone, we won't be able to tell what is lie or what is the truth. We can't believe the media anymore, will most of them, don't get me wrong, I don't say they lie, they just won't report on certain things, that would be helpful to know. The one sided reporting is getting old and people just want to hear everything and make up their own minds. We, now are spoon feed what the media wants us to know and some walk around thinking that is all and everything. Dig deeper, because they won't.

Global Not Warming

Common sense should have told you that it was not correct. Many of you still went along with the myth. I don't understand why when common sense and facts tell you different. The fraud at CRU should now put a stop to any more warming ideas, but it, more that likely, will not. The people that follow Al Gore's religion, of course, will not but ones so easily lead, can't not believe in facts or common sense. As I have written before, It is very hard, if not imposable, to get the average mean temperature of the globe. There are to many variables, like only 58 stations involved and all are at airports, you know where jets take off and there is very little heat there. I hope that the schools and teachers will tell students, that the polar bears are not impacted by global warming, but I doubt it. This should tell others that unless you use your heads and check thing out, no matter what or whom is telling you, always check it out. I will still bet that cap-n-trade or carbon tax, will still go forward, probable both. I hope that all will tell, congress, senate and the President, it is time to do things for the people and not to try to get another cash cow like education has been all these years. Enough of, I told you so.

Global Warming / Al Gore's pseudo sceinice

Common sense should tell you that Al Gore is just plan wrong. I looked all these things up about global warming according to Gore, like the sky is not falling video/ essay competition, 800 years ago warming happened and about the MIT professor that got his grant pulled because he failed to show warming over the past century. I felt that if you would check out the school that your child would be attending and check out the teacher that would be teaching your child, that you naturally check global warming according to Gore, but I was wrong. I guess it would do me no good to mention, that the polar bear picture on the iceberg was taken in Aug. and not more than 2 miles from land and polar bears can swim 60 miles with no trouble. I guess it would do me no good to mention that all the ice that melted has came back and in some cases more or the fact that there are more polar bears now then when they had them put on the watch list. All these are facts, if you care to look them up. It is hard for me to believe that most people that would look thing up, would not look up something that will have a BIG impact on your tax dollar. Gore is pushing for not only cap-n-trade but a carbon tax as will. What brothers me the most CO2 does not cause heat but heat causes CO2 to rise and no one has ever tested what the impact of a rise in CO2 would have, since CO2 only makes up 1/10th of one percent greenhouse gases. AL Gore said ( if you think I am doing this for money you do know me) and he may not be doing it for money but he sure is making a lot of it. To Al Gore, money may not be every thing but I am sure, like most of us, it bets what ever in second. If we burn to a crisp in 20 to 30 years, I was wrong and old Al was right but Dec. 21 of 2012 is coming fast, so 20 or 30 years down the road will not matter anyway.

Khalid Sheikh Mohammed

Common sense should tell you that a criminal can be trialed as a terrorist but a terrorist should be trialed as a criminal. Khalid Sheikh Mohammed has already admitted to 9/11 but it will, more than likely, be thrown out because of the water boarding. I know that there may be other crimes that he will be charged with but none that will come close to 9/11. I would not worry so much if I have not heard words like suspect, accused and alleged, these a words don't match the case. He as already admitted to 9/11, water boarded or not and we don't know, or they aren't telling us, if he admitted to 9/11 before the water boarding or after. There are some many problems with treating any terrorist like a criminal, I just can't list them all. The one of the biggest problem is, what if he's found not guilty for the major crime and they deal him out on lesser charges. Another problem, what to do with him, if he is found guilty on lesser charges, send him to his own country? Keep him prisoner in this country? That is just to name things that come to the mind of a non-attorney. It makes little difference what he is charged with it will cost lots of federal money. I know that it takes money to keep Gitmo open but not as much as this, not to mention the court being tied up forever and I mean forever, nothing about this case will be settled quickly. We may have to get anther stimulus package to keep the federal courts running. Eric Holder is the one that did not see any thing legally wrong with Waco. That goes to his legal mind. I almost forgot, the money for Gitmo is for all of the prisoners not just one, so the amount of federal money will be much greater of his trial. There is one more thing, we can't prove that his real name is Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, there is no way to verify it, no birth certificate. One more thing, what if Eric Holder and his bunch can't get an indictment, from the grand jury. I know that someone once that the prosecution can indict a ham sandwich but they never meet Eric Holder. It could be worse than O.J.'s trial. I am pretty sure they will want the trial on T.V. God help us all. I should typed God but it is my blog, so sue me.

Health Care

Common sense should tell you that when the Government will not come between you and your doctor, you should believe they, WRONG. All someone needs to do is look into the social security disability system. The first thing you have to do is go to a doctor of their choice. If you have a back problem or any other problem, you are still seen by a internist no specialist just a M.D. in general medicine. This doctor then relays the information to the social security office. You never get to see that information. Then you get a notice that you are denied , because what that doctor determined, a doctor that seen you for as little as 20 minutes. We won't come between you and your doctor, right. Then you have to go see an Administrative Law Judge, by the way that can take up to two years, he sees you for about 45 minutes, in my case he said I was not creditable, all though the problem I have can cause that kind of pain, he did not think I had that amount of pain, no bureaucrat will come between you and your doctor, right. The Administrative Law Judge also said the my doctor did not know what legal meaning of disability was, no bureaucrat will come between you and you doctor, right.
If this is how the Government runs social security disability system, image what their health system will be like. I know that some people think that the public option will get them health insurance, and it might, but only the problems they want to cover. If you are too heavy, if you are too old, if any thing that they deem wrong, you will not get treatment for what ills you but treatment for what they deems is wrong according to the Governments plan. You be treated by what their doctor says is wrong , understand their doctor, because yours, more than likely, can't stay in the practice because of the cuts in what the Government will pay. The health care bills, are not about health, any more than the cap-n-trade bills are about lower the C02 in the atmosphere. Both are about control, making you loss weight, eat what they want you to eat, use only the electricity they want you to have, supplies the auto that they want you to have and only have the amount of fuel for the car they want you to have, to name just a few. So be very careful of the programs the Government offers, they may help some people but just like the stimulus plan helped employment , it is mainly for the Governments benefit.

Common sense should tell you that why is not the question. The first question should always be what happened. Then take care to make sure of the safety of person in harms way. The next question is, make sure all wounded are taken care of, and the dead are identified. The next question is, how it happened, what lead up to it and what steps could have been taken to avoid it. Why should be left for those that are not involved in the problem. You can never find out why in something like what Major Hasan did. Whenever religion or feelings are involved because you always start with your beliefs. Your beliefs, if you have not contemplated such action, are no good in determination of the act. Your religion and mine, I hope don't tell you to do this. Based on this, how can most people come to any conclusions that would tell why. I can't see why is important anyway, it would not have stopped it, it would not have delayed it and would not have done anything at all. Anytime you deal whit religion, you are not going to be able to tell why. People that believe what they are hearing is different than what you are hearing can't be figured out, because you believe that everybody is hearing the same thing and all are believing it means the same to them as it means to everybody else. No of this is true, however most people take the same meaning as others but not all. We can never know what another may have taken out of what was said nor can we know what they may or may not do with their thoughts. Why is not something that can be ascertained just by asking questions, even to the person that did it. Why is for the news media. Why is not to important, unless you know why before it happens. Major Hasan, being a Muslim can't be the reason, millions of Muslim heard the same thing he heard and din not do the same thing. Why is not something investigators should waste much time on, spend your time trying to figure out how you can stop it not why.

Big Companies & Politics

Common sense should tell you that the board of directors of the big companies are just like the politicians, they elect the CEOs, presidents, all officers and approve all V.P.s, while all the time saying it is good for the share holders. When the company goes belly up, they have already sold their stock months ago or enough to good like they knew nothing about the collapse. The board of directors take no heat, just the officers. This is not unlike the political process of today. We elect the President, Senators and Congress, the Senate and the Congress are like the board of directors. They can support the President or not but the thing is, that they get to blame it all on the President, just like the officers of the company blamed. They never come back to their districts and tell the people that they helped the pass the bill that was no good, no instead they will say the President went in the wrong direction and wouldn't adopt your amendment to the bill. See how it all fits, see how it works, we keep electing the same board of directors, that do the same thing over and over again. Until we start electing better Senators and better Congress, we have no hope of coming out any better. The President will still make deals with the Senators and Congress, just like the deals made to the board members, to feather their beds, the only ones that get taken are the shear holders(voters). We need to start putting the blame where it belongs, just like the board, nothing can go anywhere without the votes of the board(Senate & Congress) and these are the people that are also making the policy, to be voted on. Just like the COEs, the President can be made to think about policy, if the Senators and Congress(members of the board) where honest and thought about the share holders(voters) greater good. I heard a Senator say, " That he was elected to do what he thought was right." He was elected to do what the people that elected him think is right, not his own thoughts. This is what is wrong with the system, some have the belief that when elected they and only them have some stake in the out come. We need to start at our polling places and elect the Senators and Congress that will think about the people elected them, what is good for them, not deals made to feather their own nest.

Viet Nam and Afghanistan

Common sense should tell you that at this time there is now comparison, at this time. The little know fact about Viet Nam, was the loss was because the Johnson administration didn't have a clue for strategy. They would switch again and again, hoping to hit on something that would work. The Johnson administration is the ones that lost the war. The tried and tried to come up with something that would work and ended up confusing themselves so badly they had to just stop and look for some kind of political cover. Saying the war could not be won therefore it should not have been started was their way out. Simply confused themselves into no will to win.
We have not yet reached that point in Afghanistan, as of yet. We may, I hope not. Speaker Pelosi keeps talking about corruption in the Afghanistan government, she said the same about the Iraq government as well. We need to know this is for her political cover. We have enough corruption within our own government and should not keep bring up corruption in newing formed government under terrorist on slot. The key to winning any war is will to do so. We have the equipment and the manpower but do we have the will. War is not something that can or should be put on a clock, it just won't happen on a prearranged time table. You will never win heart and minds, peoples trust are anything if you don't follow through with your promises. Political corruption within the Afghanistan government will not have any bearing on the outcome of the war only if the country can survive after the war is won. When people can stop ducking bullets every two minutes they may be will have the time to pick better leaders. Get politics out of the war, get people save and have the will of your conviction. May be not tomorrow but it will come to pass.

The Economy and World Liking Us Better

Common sense should tell you that there can't be a recovery of any kind if unemployment is 10% or better. The administrations says that the stimulus is working, as a matter our Vice President Biden, says it is working better then one could have imagined, of course he has a job. The housing market will get worse, no one has a job to keep their payments up or to buy a new house. The banks can't lone money to anyone that doesn't have a job. Money will still be tight no one has a job. I can tell that the stimulus is working after all the stocks on wall street are doing better, but people that have stock have jobs. If the President doesn't find the key to jobs all of this will fade. Our economy can not survive with a 10% unemployment and may get worse and stay that way for a long time. Regardless of ones political party, you can't believe that without jobs the economy will recover, you have to know it will be a slow death. The administration words of a slow but a sure recovery are just words. The cash for clunkers worked but now it is over and the auto manufactures are right back in the same place, no one has a job, no one can buy a auto. The problem is that there are no jobs on the way, universal health care does not create jobs, only raises taxes. Cap-n-trade will not create jobs, it will raise energy cost to two or three times what they are now and the worst thing is, in the bill is billions for unemployment payments, they know it will lose jobs. Someone please tell me how in a few years that we will not need to sneak into Canada as illegals to work and send money back to America. Afghanistan not going will, no troops from NATO, no help from Russia or China on Iran, Iran with a bomb or at least knowledge of how to build one, take missiles away from our friend, does not help Israel and no jobs in site, I guess I would rather go back to the world not liking us so much, at least most of us where working. The only thing that this administration has accomplished is high unemployment and it looks like they are good at it because all say more is coming. The best thing about this accomplishment is that it was not one of his campaign promises, it was his little surprise, SURPRISE.

Nothing changes but the parties

Common sense should tell you that nothing every changes, except the parties. During the Bush administration all of the Democrats where against all most everything Bush wanted. During the last campaign the Obama's people needed something to help with the wars, so they started the Afghanistan was the war to win because the 9/11 attacks came from there and it was proper that the US should be there. Iraq was just Bush's war and we needed to get out. A lot of the same things they used against Nixon. Now here we are the anti-war left and hard left leaning Democrats want out of Afghanistan. We just have to go back to the late 60's and early 70's and we have the same thing from the same people, using the same tactics but the only thing that changes is the party in the White House. Iraq is doing better and Afghanistan is in real trouble, they turned the American people against the war in Viet Nam and the same people are going to turn the American people against Afghanistan, because they know how. President Obama can't please the anti-war left and still hope for a Afghanistan free of the Taliban. He can't keep the American military on track and caring with out the political support(money). This is why we are in this mess. Democrats or Republicans, they still thing about wining the political goal and never thing of how to govern. If we would have elected a Republican, it would have been Viet Nam all over again. Wait until President Obama is in the place to start to take money away from the Defense Department, just like all others in his party, have done for years. Republicans give money to DOD, Democrats take money from the DOD. You know what is really odd, for all the support the politicians say they have for the troops, the Democrats won't give the troops raises and the Republicans do but not enough, isn't that odd or is it just plain unacceptable? Wars, you know, by any other name, people DIE, should never come down to a political decision. We have people putting their lives on the line for their country and the President of the United States may make a decision based on what his political party wants. People are DYING and their lives could be based on a political, I can't think of anything that would express my total distaste. I am VIET NAM VETERAN and I know about how impossible it is to win any WAR. When politics and politicians get involved in areas where lose of live is the outcome,they just don't take that in to account. Boots on the ground are last, saving political face is always first.

Racism and Politics

Common sense should tell you that when it comes to politics race plays very little part, if any at all. If race played a big part in politic, that would mean that everyone that disagreed with any person other then white would be a racist. So that would mean that all politicians are racist. You can't through a dead cat and hit a politicians in either the city, county, state or federal government, that some non-white politician, is not agree with. President Obama policies are what some do not agree, it would not matter if he was of a different color, he is very left for most republicans and some democrats. If Carter and Mondale are correct then the democrats that don't like the health care plans must be racist to, or can they pick and choose. I think that they want to pick and choose. I think that they think it helps with the health care debate, it doesn't, but I think they believe it will swing some votes, it won't, but not a very nice try. Of course they could be trying to help the 49% disapproval before 2012. What every the reason, which there can be no reasoning involved, no one should try to play the race card every time the sun shines. Everybody knows that the U.S. has a President that happens to be black. How his term or terms turn out good, bad or indifference remains to be seen. I doubt, when history looks at his record, as President, race will play any part. President Obama will take his place in history as the first President that was black but will need to depend on his judgment and leadership as to what kind of President he was, just like all others. I am glad that Ex-President Carter and Ex-Presidential Candidate Mondale have something to voice their strong but wrong opinions about but look at their careers. As I have said before there is no racism in politics because they are all the same, POLITICIANS, a breed apart. Some will be called racist and some will not but that depends on who and how they would like the vote to go.

Afghanistan

Common sense should tell you that a person with no military background in tactics or strategy should take the word of generals that do have a military background. I heard today that our President was looking at sending more troops, that what the general on the ground wants, or a better strategy. Let us look at what as happened in the past. President Johnson and Viet Nam, that went will, right? President Johnson did not want the nomination of his own party because of his taking an active role in military strategy and tactics. President Johnson was in the military but was not in a position to have known about military strategy or tactics for that matter. President Carter and Iran, we all should know haw that turned out. Although, President Cater, like President Johnson, did have a military background in the Navy, was not in a position to have known tactics or strategy. Now we have a President that does not have a military background but doesn't seem to like the military much going to see if there may be a better military strategy. That is hard to believe, don't you think so? I hope it turns out better then the others but I don't have much hope.

Change the Opinion of the U.S. World Wide

Common sense should tell you now, that President Obama is very naive on foreign policy. He has allowed Mr. Holder to go after the CIA and now he has taken away the missile defense system from Poland and The Czech Republic in hopes Russia will help with Iran. We will no longer have the intelligence, on time intelligence, about Iran but we now have two nations upset with us as France was with President Kennedy. France kick the U.S. out because of the deal to take missiles out of France in exchange for Russia not to put missiles in Cuba. Poland and The Czech Republic depended on the United States for help with the defense and now the two countries know what Israel has found out, President Obama, will not help. President Obama would rather hope that Russia will help with Iran, then to stand by our friends. I thought that maybe the U.S. would be o.k. but now cutting the guts out of the CIA and thumbing his nose at our friends in Europe, makes me believe that the U.S. may be in real trouble. The CIA can no longer gather intelligence, without being investigated, and now two more of our friends can't trust us. So let me see, so far, Israel, Poland and The Czech Republic, was our friends, but now Venezuela that wants to declare war on us. It would seem to me that we need friends because Russia is only interested in what is good for Russia and President Obama interested in not keeping friends, puts us in a very bad position. Watch out for President Obama not willing to put more troops in Afghanistan and trying to pull out of Iraq sooner then planed. It seems that the U.S. word is not that good. President Obama does seem to be changing opinions of the U.S., world wide, but that opinion is, don't trust the United States, they may not be there if needed.

Obamacare and the enviroment

Common sense should, now be telling you what, President Obama is really after. Mr. Van Jones has given it away. The word is POWER. The only thing that could come from universal heath care and the public option, is not health care for all but power for the government. That is the same thing as cap-n-trade and carbon tax. The public option may provide some sort of health care but it main objective is power over people. Cap-n-trade and the carbon tax will not stop or remove any carbon from the air, actually it will more than likely, add to the carbon. This administration doesn't know, or care, the out come of it's policies. Just implement the policy is the goal. The major green house gas is not carbon but water vapor. Humans don't have anything to do with the amount of water vapor in the atmosphere. People need to use some common sense when it comes to politicians, because all they deal with is political things and that is power and how to get more. Politicians are always politicians not left, not right and not even center, just politicians and how to maintain power and how to get more. As I have said before, some voted for a black man but all we got was a politician that happens to be black. He has his agenda and only his agenda. So believe me or not our well being is not is secondary to he's agenda. Don't get me wrong, there have been other, left and right, but not necessarily so against what most people really want or need.

Global Warmer

Common sense should tell you, that it is not possible to get the average mean temperature of the globe, for one day, for one month or for one year, let alone, several years. I wish someone would write me back and tell me how they did that. That would go a long way in telling me and others how they come up with global warming. I mean, you would have to know what the average temperature of the globe was and what it is now to come up with a warming or cooling, for that matter. Now as far as CO2 causes warming, I am not sure that is correct. I thought that heat caused CO2 levels to rise, not CO2 caused the heat levels to rise. Anyway, where does the CO2 go in the winter time, on vacation? It is true that the winters have not been as sever as then I was a child, until the last couple. It looks like that we may have the winters I use to having growing up. I hope not, because they where cold, I mean very cold, and snowy. Having said all of that, let's say that there is global warming and it is man made. If the U.S.A. and some other countries try to to lower their carbon emissions but others don't, like Russia, India and China, that now are putting out more then the U.S.A., it won't work on a global scale. How is charging energy companies more to pollute, stop or lower the carbon emissions? It won't, the companies pass that on to the customer(mainly common people) and we end up paying more for the energy, how does that lower or stop the carbon emissions? It won't, it just means higher energy cost. How come, when we have had a cooler spring, in a while and it looks like we may have had a cooler summer, that don't count but if is was warmer that would have counted? A few more things, if we have global warming and it has been coming on slowly, then why is the polar bear in trouble? Isn't that what evolution is about? Wouldn't the polar bear have evolved? Last, but not least, why only the polar bear?

Obamacare

Common sense should tell you that cap and trade, health care and carbon tax, are about power and control. Global warming and universal health care, are just excuses to get these programs in to law. If cap and trade and carbon tax becomes law, we can forget about, ever being oil independent. Once the government has control of energy, there will be no drilling for American oil. It will stay just like it is, but the government will have total control. If universal health care gets passed, the billions the government will take out of Medicare, will break it and guess what, it will become part of universal health care, along with Medicaid and V.A.. Once the government passes these thing into law, we can't get rid of they. The next president, may be able to change certain things but cannot get rid if them. So now the next Democrat president can just pick up where President Obama left off. That is why it was such a hurry, to hope that no one (the public) would catch on. The reason that universal heath care will need to be rationed, is because illegal aliens will be allowed to join the system. Yes I know that the bill says that they can't but there will be no verification of citizenship. That is right, just say you are and that will be o.k. with the government. There will be no means testing either, someone that makes more then you can and will be excepted with open arms. The government wants everyone depended on them.

Public Option

Common sense should tell you that the Democrats use the 46 million uninsured does count the 12 to 20 million illegal aliens. It is true that there is a part in the bill, I believe is HB3200, that says that illegal aliens would not get this PUBLIC OPTION. The problem is, to the tax payers, that there is no verification, no one will ask, no one will check and everyone will be excepted on their word. That is correct, you can check on this. The next problem is, sense there is no verification of any kind all people will be able to get the public option, even if you make more money than is allowed, all you need to do is say you make a certain amount and there is no verification of any kind.
The next biggest misleading thing about the the PUBLIC OPTION, is that you have a choice. This is true, to a point. If you have health insurance through your work or union, and they decide to not offer it any more, there will be no cobras, just the PUBLIC OPTION and sense it will be cheaper for them, you will be forced into the government plan. Nothing can change with your insurance, nothing at all, more insurance, less coverage, anything at all and you will be forced into the PUBLIC OPTION.
You will be able to keep the same doctor. This true up to a point. That point is if your doctor decides to take less money. If your doctor does not want to go with the PUBLIC OPTION you will need to choose from a list of government doctors. These doctors my be further away then your doctor. The worst thing is what if you don't like the doctor? To bad that is the choice you get.

Things that bother me

Common sense should tell you certain things, like how does the private insurance rates going up, cost the government money? It seems to me that it would only impact people that have that insurance. If the government would just take the power away for the States and let us shop interstate along with tort reform, that would pretty much bring the cost down. The other thing that cause me to wonder is, how does cap and trade or a carbon tax reduce carbon admissions? It just allows anybody that has money to pollute. Let me see now, if the energy companies are charged more tax for their admissions, the government will take some of that tax and give it back to the public that can't afford the energy bill because the energy companies passed the tax on to the consumer, we in turn will give it back to the energy company, who will give it to the government, for taxes, who in turn will give back to the customer, that will give it back to the energy company, who will give it back to the government, and so on and so on. If it is left a lone the government would save on stamps, oh no the government, wants to have your account number to direct deposit or maybe take out to direct pay of your taxes or health care. Think about it.

Common sense should tell you, that other than those that follow politics and people from Mass., more that likely, would not know much about Ted Kennedy maybe that he was JFK and Bobby's brother. I won't say anything else about Ted Kennedy except this, he was not as well liked among the other party as the Dems. would lead you to believe.

Eric Holder

Common sense should tell you that Eric Holder will find some sort of illegal actions by someone that interrogated the terrorist leaders. Mr. Holder knows a thing or two about illegal actions. Eric Holder in his conformation hearing was never asked about the 80 men, women and children that were killed at Waco and ran the cover for Reno and Clinton. Also we should mention the Elian Gonales mess, he again ran the cover for his boss, Reno. So I am sure that this man is the right man for the job. I mean after all the CIA was just trying to get in formation to help prevent an attack on America. It seems that Mr. Holder is O.K. with a raid on a home in Florida to grab a child, that was against the search and seizure laws but stops at enhanced interrogations. I guess that Mr. Holder is O.K. with his boss not abiding to the Posse Comitatus act but stops at getting useful information in a timely manner. Last but not least, it would seem that Mr. Holder doesn't want the CIA to treat terrorist badly but is O.K. with burning Branch Diavdians to death, all 80 of them. Now I think that you can see why this man is the right man for the job.

Rush and Hannity

Common Sense should tell you that Rush and Hannity are not correct in their assessment to President Obama. The President is not trying to get the power for himself. I believe that, power is what he is after, but he would much rather have the U.S. turn into just another European country. It is not socialism, per-say, but it will get us one step closer to the ONE WORLD GOVERNMENT that all of his ilk find so appealing. The Obama administration has just given Brazil money for oil drilling, but won't allow the U.S. to become a self contained energy country, by not allow us to drill off shore or in anwar. All of the other countries have government health care. Some of the other countries have labor unions but are under government control. Most other governments have departments that people have to go to for housing and employment. Sense the administration has not created one GREEN job, my feelings are, that they would rather have high unemployment in all sectors than put people back to work in less then GREEN jobs. The Obama administration will give money to the war efforts but not spend a penny on a raise in military salary. I think that he is trying, after the wars, to drop the military budgets to that of Germany or France and the people in the military then won't stay because of the pay. All of this goes to my first point, sounds more like a globalist to me.

cap and trade and health care

Common sense should tell you, that anything that involves the government, sense they only have our money, that the government will want more of our money. Dingle said, of cap and trade, that it is a tax and a big one. So I hope that Reid is right and it will not pass in the Senate. I believe that is why President Obama wanted the health care bill to pass so quickly, because our government, needs the influx of capital, you know, our money. Make no mistake, it is about money but most of all it is about power. Power over your health and control over the electricity. They then control who, what, and where, you or I go to get care, what care that is and who you or I can go to. The same with energy, how much you or I get and when we get it. I believe that President Obama has his upbring on his mind and not the people that made him President. As bad is the above sounds, the bill, for money to fund the Iraq and Afghanistan, did not include raises for the soldiers, that all support, or so they say. According to Rep. Franks, the money for most of these bills will come out of the military. He and others think that America's military budget should not be above that of Germany or France. President Obama, in my opinion, is not a socialist but a globalist, instead, which is worse, because he will bring America down to others level, and not have us excel above all others, as we should.
